Sky Watch

This week I decided to post pictures of my true passion. Boats, especially sailboats (or blow boats as my friends son calls them), the bay and ocean. No matter how you feel, when you are on a boat or close to the water, nothing seems to matter. All the stresses and tension just melts away.

(Taken March of this year)

Cape May Harbor)

(North Cape May Canal. )

(Cape May Point.)

How can one not feel better looking at something like this. Almost full moon with a beautiful sky, sailboat, ocean and waves.

Sky Watch Friday has become so popular that it now has it's very own site. Please visit, participate and/or view other Sky Watcher's from all over the world. Trust me when I tell you, you wouldn't be disappointed.

All the pictures are so beautiful, but I think I like the last one the most, because the sky looked good!

Hope you can hop to my SWF picture HERE, too! Happy weekends!

These are great shots. The last one looks like it could be in Algoa Bay, on the Southern coast of Africa.
I must say that it is nice to get out on a boat, though I don't do it often. On one occassion all that mattered was getting back to shore - I blogged about that fateful trip and will never live it down :)

Nice one for SWF! We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon.... Mine's up too hope you can drop by...

Lovely, thanks for sharing. Fog is so hard to capture in a photo, but yours is good.

I love the first and the last most of all! the detail in the first is great, the masts of the blow boats ;) and I love how the docked boat seems to have a pink back with a cartoon on it.

and the last - the light is stunning!

I have a little gift for you - please come on by :)

Yes, you are right, that is what happens when I'm sailing, watching sky, horizon or waves and windmarks on the water.
Sailing is one of my passions too.
Thanks a lot for sky watch und your nice blog and musik.
There will be one sailing/sky watch special for you and people loving sailing and SWK.
